Our Rapid Response Units are one of the most versatile vehicle types within our fleet. Fully equipped cars provide a fast response that is especially ideal for the conveyance of patients who do not require the use of stretcher ambulance or for blood products, medical teams, human organs etc. Our RRUs are ideal for conveying infants who do not need an incubator.
We can convey medical teams, organs and blood on a 24 hour, 365 day basis.

All our response and ambulance drivers are trained to the highest standards by local NHS Trusts and Police Class 1 Driving Instructors. This provides them them the experience and skills required to deliver a service that is second to none under blue light conditions in Reading, Berkshire, North Hampshire and Oxfordshire. Being based in Reading – not far from the Royal Berkshire Hospital – we are well placed to reach the major hospitals along the M4 Corridor it also means our location gives us fast access to major airports such as Heathrow.
Our staff undergo regular assessments by an external certifiying body to ensure they maintain the highest levels of safely whilst driving under blue-light conditions. They are also kept up-to-date on product handling, paitent care and first aid (or higher).
We can provide medical teams to suit the needs of the transport from First Aid trained drivers, through to Techicians and Paramedics.
